Pre-Law Launchpad Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: August 11, 2026

Summary: Pre-Law Launchpad stores study progress locally and uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertising. The app does not create user accounts or ask users to provide names, email addresses, or other profile information.

Information stored on the device

The app stores chapter completion status, the last chapter opened, and reading position in local browser storage on the device. This information supports progress and resume features and is not sent to the developer.

Advertising and automatically collected data

The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google may automatically collect and share information such as the device IP address, general location inferred from the IP address, interactions with the app and ads, diagnostic and performance information, and device or advertising identifiers. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.

Users can reset or delete the Android advertising ID through Android settings. Ad availability and personalization may vary based on the user's region, device settings, and privacy choices.

Consent and privacy choices

The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage privacy choices where required. When available, users can reopen the consent choices through the app's Privacy options control. Users may also manage advertising privacy settings through their Android device and Google account.

Information the developer does not request

The app does not ask users to submit names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos, financial information, health information, or legal case information. It does not provide account registration, cloud storage, or direct messaging.

Data sharing and sale

The developer does not sell personal information. Data handled by Google Mobile Ads may be collected and shared by Google as described above and in Google's privacy documentation.

Permissions

The app uses internet and network-state access to request and display ads. It does not request camera, microphone, contacts, call logs, SMS, precise location, or broad file-storage permissions.

Data retention and deletion

Local study-progress data remains until the user resets progress, clears the app's data, or uninstalls the app. Because the developer does not receive this local data, the developer cannot retrieve or delete it remotely. Information processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies and the user's privacy settings.

Children's privacy

The app is intended for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly request personal information from children.

Security

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. The app limits developer-controlled data handling by keeping study progress on the device and not operating user accounts or a developer database.

Changes to this policy

This policy and the Google Play Data safety disclosure will be updated when the app's data practices or third-party services change.
