Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Criminal Law Fall Launch public website, Android application, and bundled HTML, CSS, and JavaScript content. The service is published by America Juris Publishing, a division of Three Pillars Publishing Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

Information and local study activity

We do not require an America Juris Publishing account and the course does not ask you to submit a name, postal address, payment information, or academic record. Searches, quiz selections, scores, and flashcard interactions are processed locally in your browser or on your device and are not submitted to America Juris Publishing.

The advertising services described below do collect or receive data automatically. Depending on the service, device, region, consent choice, and ad shown, this may include an IP address, device or browser identifiers, general or approximate location derived from an IP address, ad and product interactions, diagnostic information, and cookie or similar-technology data.

Advertising on the website

The public website uses Google AdSense. Google and participating advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process the information described above to provide, personalize where permitted, measure, secure, and prevent fraud in advertising.

Where required, the website will present a Google-certified consent message before advertising cookies or personalized advertising are used. You may revisit available choices through the website’s privacy-options control after the consent system is configured. You can also review how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and manage Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings.

Advertising in the Android app

The Android app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform for consent. According to Google’s current SDK disclosure, the Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares IP addresses, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit.

The app will request updated consent information when it starts, show a consent form when required, and provide a privacy-options entry point when Google indicates that one is required. The AdSense website code is disabled inside the Android WebView; app advertising is supplied by the native AdMob integration.

Cookies, storage, and device permissions

The website’s advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies. The bundled educational content does not use persistent browser storage for course progress; quiz scores and flashcard state are temporary and reset when the page or app is restarted.

The Android app requires internet and network-state access to display and measure ads. Its educational features do not require sensitive permissions such as precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone, SMS, health, financial, or broad file access. A future release that changes permissions, SDKs, or data practices will require corresponding updates to this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration before distribution.

Purposes, choices, and third parties

Advertising data may be processed to deliver contextual or personalized ads where permitted, measure ad performance, maintain security, detect fraud and abuse, and improve advertising services. Consent or opt-out rights vary by location. Use the available consent or privacy-options control to make or withdraw a choice where applicable.

Google and its advertising partners process information under their own privacy policies and retention practices. Review the Google Privacy Policy for more information. Selecting an ad, email link, or another external link may open a third-party application or website whose privacy practices apply.

Children’s privacy

The website and app are intended for adults age 18 and older, including law students and bar-exam candidates. They are not directed to children, and the publisher does not knowingly seek personal information from children.

Security and retention

America Juris Publishing does not maintain a user-account database for this course or retain the local quiz and flashcard activity described above. Google and participating advertising partners determine retention for the information they process under their policies. The Android wrapper loads only trusted bundled course content and does not expose a JavaScript-to-native interface.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy if the app’s features or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the app and in the applicable Google Play disclosures before release.
